Julia Golding

 Catherine Royal lives in Drury Lane Theatre,In London and is friends with Lord Francis, Lady Elizabeth, Johnny, Pedro and Syd. It is very interesting because Catherine/Cat has to look after a diamond and you get a surprise when Billy Boil her enemy and his gang invade her territory in the theatre and finds money and Pedro does a show with Cat and lots of other actors and everyone thinks she is fantastic even Mr Sheridon who is the boss of the theatre.

 I think this book is excellant and exciting and makes me want to read the other books. Cat gains friends and enemies and is a cheeky character,  I would recommend this for 7+ and oldest people in year 2 and years 3,4,5,6,7
