Louise May Alcott

This story is a classic tale written in the 1890's about 4 sisters: Meg (16 years of age), Jo (15), Beth (13) and Amy (12)! They have a close bond between them; despite the fact that they are extremely poor (since their father has gone to war)! Along with ups and downs, they go through many activities and adventures, but at the end of the day they always stick together! On the other hand they have some very close shaves, for example: Beth almost dies from Scarlet fever and Amy almost suffocates under the ice whilst ice skating!!!! But with a little help from their loving, caring mother and cheery, jolly friend (Laurie); They can get through everything.... However a sudden heart-breaking turn around in the book causes them all to suffer sorrow as their mother rapidly leaves. How will the sisters cope without her? Find out when you read this enthralling, warm tale!

This outstanding, thilling story is a 'must read' book! It keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time and really enthralls you.... Trust me, once you've picked it up you don't want to put it down! It really takes you to it's world and you feel empathy towards the heart-warming characters. This witty, popular, classical, comical adventure is one like no other! I rate it a 10/10 due to the fact it's so comforting, detailed and imaginative!!! I think this book is aimed at year 5's and over because it is long and difficult to understand! Have fun reading one of the best books ever written!!!!
