 This story without words follows the new baby brother or sister, from meeting the family and changing the nappy, to playing and bathing. The perfect way to share the arrival of a new baby with a toddler.

 This is a book of illustrations so great for young and old children alike. There are some lovely pictures of baby's first days at home and the early activities your toddler is likely to experience. The characters are shown in a wonderful way especially with the dad actively involved, taking the children for a walk and cooking dinner while mum nurses the baby. The relationships are positive with the toddler playing with both the baby and on his own, and the parents giving him quality time after the baby has gone to bed. As there are no words you can make up the story and discuss it in as much or as little detail with your child. The only possible downside is that some children may not like having a book without a clear story and characters.
