 A boy who finds a blue rock and it turns out to be a dragon egg. So,he becomes a dragon rider.He has a fantastic adventure with his dragon Saphira. This boy is called Eragon. Eragon is trying to destroy a horrible king called Galbatorix and his right-hand man Murtagh.

 I thought this book was amazing.The way Christopher Paolini describes the surroundings and all the words for the magic are brilliant. I think this book is for 9 - 16 year olds, but could really be for anyone who like adventures.
