Roald Dahl

 A boy, who lost his parents in England, began to live with his grandmother in Norway. Grandmother told her grandson how the REAL WITCHES caused the childrens' mysterious end. Also, she told him how to recognize the witches. The boy really meets the witches of England and the Grand High Witch. Unfortunately, he is captured by the witches with another boy Bruno, who became a mouse (only in appearance, not in his brain) and became a clever mouse due to 'Formula 86 Delayed Action Mouse Maker', which was invented by The Grand High Witch. Then the boy (whilst he's a mouse) steals the 'Formula 86 Delayed Action Mouse Maker' from the flat of The Grand High Witch and makes all of the witches of England into mice! When grandmother finds the witches' castle, they go into the most exciting mission in the world.

 I think that The Witches is the most exciting book from all the books that Roald Dahl has written. I liked it that the witches of England were made into mice, which started the quest. People who like the action books or films would like to read this.
