It starts as a joke. A strange girl turns up at a family party and pretends to be an old friend of Alice's. So Alice plays along, why not? It serves the others right for being so foul to her. But the joke soon wears thin. The gate crasher, the other Alice, clearly wants more than just a free drink. Soon she has wormed her way into the heart of the family. Only Alice knows that she has no right to be there, but by then it's too late to tell the truth.
